Enriched Air / Nitrox

Many people are tuned in to the benefits of Nitrox, now it's your turn!
The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) programme now has the option of being totally classroom based, with no open water dives required, making it even easier to get involved with one of our most popular programmes, and really can make a massive difference to your safety and enjoyment of future dives.
The main reason divers prefer Nitrox is that it reduces the the amount of Nitrogen that your body can absorb, allowing for a longer bottom time or shorter surface intervals.
Using up to a 36% Nitrox mix increases your safety margin by slowing the bodies saturation process which is hugely beneficial when doing many dives in one week!
After reading the EANX manual and watching a DVD, our instructors will guide you through the course as you learn to use EANX tables and work through some knowledge reviews. You will then work through some scenarios where you will practice your new found skills!
When you have demonstrated that you are competent in planning and preparing to dive, the final stage of your PADI Enriched Air (EAN) training will see you learn the process of Gas Collection; Gas Analysis; Safe Labelling and all of the other training processes required.
